Disney Post 5

Epcot is definitely at the top of my list for favorite parks. In October, the food and wine festival is there. You can travel around the world tasting food and spirits from each country and it only costs a couple of bucks!. Jay and I always save our snack credits for there. There are also awesome attractions as well as the best restaurants.
Eating at Teppan Edo in Japan
This is the ride in Mexico. It reminds me of "It's a Small World"....Mexican style!

In Mexico, there is a restaurant. It's neat because even though it is inside, you think your outside..so it's always "night" in there...

These next few pics are when we did the mysteries with the KimPossible phones. You get assigned to a country and solve the mystery there. It's a good way to help you learn things about the country. We toured England and France.

France......the pasteries are so good there!

This girl is from India. She gave the kids extra attention by writing their names on the back of their passports..I'll tell you about passports later..

Sugar Ray concert
This is where you get the passport. The kids got them stamped in each country. Each country has their own guides who are really from that country. I should have done that in high school.
Here is Jake with his passport. He is eating one of the best snacks at Disney (besides a Dole Whip from MK) a kaki-jori. It's Japanese shaved ice and it is soooooooo good!
One of our favorite rides..Test Track
Waiting in line for Test Track. I always have one that smiles and the other does a silly face..every time! Also, he refused to take the ugly farmer type hat off the whole trip.
The picture below is from my least favorite rides at Disney ( besides the kiddy rides) Mission Space. It's a space simulation. You can do the intense or less intense simulation. We did the intense..very cool but made me sick! Just do the less intense! Everyone says it is fine and doesn't make you sick.
..any the funny face/pose again!
These pics are from our favorite ride Soarin'!

You actually feel like you're flying over California. It also has smells (orange grove, spruce trees).. so awesome!!!

This is a pic from one of the samples from the food and wine festivals...I think this is in Morocco maybe???a lettuce wrap and a rib..It is sooo good. We actually eat dinner around the world one day.

Air Supply is concert..they are a little old.
This picture is from one of my favorite stores in Disney. It is in Japan and it is called Mitsukoshi department store. It has everything, Japanese toys, candy, electronics, china, saki.....you name it! I always bring back a souvenir. Last time I got some wooden place mats to remind me of Epcot, and the kids always get the neat candy. Japan is probably one of my favorite countries in the World Showcase.
