MCA's Music at the Mill

Our school's fundraiser was last weekend and I will have to say it was quite an event. Gretchen was so nice to dedicate a night out of her schedule to help us raise money for the school. I didn't get to take many pics because I was so busy and forgot. There were many talented artists there. One funny thing happened was when I told Jay that I thought there was a "Monkee" sitting beside him. He wasn't familiar with the group and he just rolled his eyes at me. Then, the next thing we know, they called him up on stage. I thought it was funny. There is a pic here with my friend Jamie, who is more familiar with that era ( sorry Jamie). Jake took a picture of my "wig" as he called it. All I can say is country music= big hair and I had to have it for this event!

"Nothing Stacks Up To You" MOM!

The kiddos gave me neat domino necklace charms that were done in art at school. They stamped them,glued on hearts and then signed them on the side. I thought they were a neat idea and I will definitely wear them as so as I find a necklace to put them on. I will cherish them always.... xo xo!

waiting for spring......

It's spring....as Riggsy says

It was so nice after church today that we decided to head to the park and picnic. My friend Stephanie and her girls were also there. The kids had a blast and could have stayed all day. We definitely needed the sunblock, especially Riggs, but I wasn't as prepared since it is FEBRUARY!
I tried to get some face shots of the kids; Jake is definitely photogenic and always has been, but Riggsy is a another story. He does this dorky, squinty ,over the top smile, and when I tell him to act natural, he looks mad. Anyway, it was gorgeous outside...here are some pics from the day

Home Depot Kids Workshop

It was the first Saturday of the month so we headed to Home Depot for Kid's Workshop..This time the choices were a jewelry box, easel, cd case or bookends. So they both chose bookends. They had a blast building them all by themselves!

Sweet little baby

Here are some sweet pictures of when we visited Brooke and BJ. The kids definitely loved little Levi and fought over who was holding him. I miss having a baby..hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
