Thanks Chesley!

We had a fabulous time getting our pictures made and I feel she did a great job! I had to get some last family shots and individual ones before Jake lost teeth and got big buckers! I was definitely looking for unposed pics and more modern shots and one of our friends referred me to a superb photographer who could meet my expectations. So friends, sorry if there are so many and family, there are about 173 more shots on a disk if you would like to view or purchase, so let me know! Click to enlarge..........

4th of July

This year we went to Alabama for the holiday. It was fun playing out on the water and very relaxing. We got the children up on skis, which is something I have been meaning to do, because I think I skiid well before Riggs's age. Jay had to get out on the water so they wouldn't freak out when they fell. I remember vividly, when I started, that someone was out there with me and it was a sense of comfort. They both did really well. Riggs was fine until he took a nasty spill..you know the ones where you lean forward and bounce across the water on your head a few times. He was done! We were trying not to get any sun, but the kids seem to be getting darker and darker, the more 70 SPF I spray on them. We did fireworks out on the lake with Jay's family. Jay's brother has a dog that would actually bite off the sparklers when they were lit! You can see it in the pictures below. I thought it was so funny! Good times!

You're not a true southerner if....

You don't teach your kids to break beans!

Hanging with Honor Grace

Last week we hung out with my niece, Honor Grace. It was fun to spend time with just Honor; she has three other siblings. She is closest to Jake's age out of all his cousins and I think Riggs definitely felt like the third wheel. He bothered the stew out of them; of course, that's what little brothers are for! Everywhere we went, people thought she was one of mine....I guess it was the three blondies in tow. I'm sure it looked like I really had my hands full!
