Last Sunday we were getting ready to go back to school after a two week break. Riggs, who has always been a napper, really wanted to rest and I was determined to have them in bed early so I didn't want them to nap. He sneaked off and after about thirty minutes of the family frantically looking, this is were we found him. That little sneaky thing, he had a good hour nap under his bed.

spring break

We had a lot of fun visiting with friends and family over spring break. The first week my kids went to my mom's house. I got a lot of stuff done around the house and threw quite a few things away that, otherwise, the kids would not have let me trash. Jay and I had a lot of dinners out and it was nice to be alone; however, we really missed the kids after a few days. It was just too quiet around here! After they returned, we went to the Nashville Zoo and then headed to Memphis. Before we went to my sisters, we stayed a night with my best friend from high school, Ashlee. Our kids had so much fun and Ashlee and I had a good chance to catch up on things. After that we went to my sisters and had a lot of fun with the fam. We went to the Memphis Zoo but I forgot my camera..go figure!

Cinderella

Tonight was Pre-K night along with Kindergarten's production of Cinderella. Riggs usually clams up in these things, but tonight he really surprised me. He knew every word and all the motions and between songs he would stand with his hands together just like they practiced. He would bob his head to the beat...it was was supercute how "into it" he was.

Jake played "Jaq" one of the mice in the original Cinderella. He got a little bit of stage fright in the beginning, but knew all of his lines and did just fine. In one of the mice dances, he froze with fear, but then joined right in with the other mice. It was funny to watch him.

There are a couple of video clips at the end. I had to use my digital camera so the quality is pretty bad. One of them is rather long...I wish I knew how to play just a portion. Oh well, it's still funny to watch.

Happy Anniversary Opry Style

Tonight we ended up at the Opry again with my favorite lineup..Josh Turner and Carrie Underwood. Here are some pics of the night. In some of them, we are in dressing rooms, and I just couldn't help but take pictures of the walls. I am sure they think I am a stupid fan, but you gotta take advantage of the situation I guess. Sometimes I would run around to the front of the stage to get a face shot and and then run backstage to meet them in the hall, and I'll have to say I was hot and tired by the end of the night. I think I needed some touching up...do you think Carrie would have minded if I asked her makeup girl to help me out a little??HA Anyway, we had fun and BTW Jay is getting better at the present buying ....a TARA TARANTINO vintage BARBIE piece, pink lacey earrings to wear to the Opry...he's learning me well!!Aren't they cute?
