ok, so I am not the camping kind of girl..However, my six year wanted to go so I decided to fulfill his wish for one night. It was actually pretty fun, except for sleeping and ticks! We cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner there and it was actually quite tasty. We went on several hikes;it was beautiful and quiet. Everyone seemed to have a good time, however I am glad to be back in my king sized bed!
It seems like only yesterday I was stretching him 3 hours between feedings! I can't believe he is about to start kindergarten. I will post soon with our camping trip. That is what Jake wanted to do for his birthday. Happy birthday Jake!
He put a 6 on pancake with chocolate chips (his favorite breakfast)
This is just to say thank you to Jay and also my daddy and Jay's daddy for being such great examples for my family and me. My children simply adore their dad and think the world of him. Riggs is so funny when he puts on his "mowin" boots and places his sunglasses on with a cap (just like Jay) and follows Jay around and mows and weedeats. I think it is his favorite thing! They think dad can do no wrong. I hope you have a great Father's Day Jay!

The entire Riggs clan got together this past weekend to celebrate our parent's 50th..We had a real good time swimming, eating, talking, swimming, and swimming again. All of our aunts and uncles were present making it an extra special time. The party turned out wonderful and it was fun getting to visit with people we haven't seen in over 20 years. Here are some pics from the weekend...Sorry about the sideways pics, I couldn't figure that out. Double click on them if you want to see them closer up.
